In otherwords T?.
Ok, I'm a bit lost too.
I bought Selenia for 100HP from my Fiat dealer just for top up's, it's 10w40 40K like the manual says. So when they do my first service will they use the same oil? I assume so as thats the oil i bought from the dealer.
i have pm the person a tech at fiat the link to this thread
I'm interested to see the sheet too, the last time I asked Fiat they said Selenia 20K 10w40, the dealer said all apart from the 100hp use 5w40, but they just put it in the 100hp too.
I have found Selenia K 5w40 tends to get drunk in fairly heavy quantities by mine.
I think both K and 20K are semi-synthetic ?
I think 18k or 12k services are bonkers either way. What I'd do in this situation is put in 20K 10W40 and forget about it![]()
I'll second the oil consumption comments. With 5w40 I've had to top up 2.25 litres in 11,000 miles - which is quite a lot really!
Is there any more info on this service bulletin?
I've got my first service on Thursday, think I'm still going with semi-synth 10w40 (Mobil) as the 5w40 argument doesn't seem to hold any weight..

It's a concern as it used a lot less 10w40, suggesting I personally would be better off not using Selenia K.
One litre of 10w40 in 4,000 miles is quite a lot, in my opinion. Even driven hard mine used less than that.
