Off Topic New Forest Meet 6 - 21/08/2011

Hi Mel, yes I had a PM from Tracy at the weekend that Pete had planned the route already. I know that a couple of others have also not yet added themselves but I will wait until closer to the time before reminding them. There are a few more possibles as well but they won't be able to confirm until closer to the time.

Tony, sorry will not be able to make it now, although not going to Barcelona, we will be at foothils of Mont Blanc, having lunch prob at same time as you are at a pub lunch in New Forest..

I blame Maxi for posting his route to Torino via Mont Blanc ;)

Of course when I said Pete I meant Mark. ;) I got confused because Tracy (Booklady) and Pete had sent me a PM that I was reading earlier and as we all know multitasking isn't really my strong point.

Apologies to the crew of YellowLuigi. :)

Tony, what a shame, I won't be able to make it as I'm working that weekend.
I was looking forward to meeting you all. Maybe I'll be able to make the next one.

Confirmed attendees so far are;

Franda
RUI
Melanabb
Grimwau
Red Bubble
Chaazureblue

Briony, thanks for adding yourself to the list, at least now my wife won't be able to moan that all we talk about is cars, lol. Prepare to get your ears bent on all manner of gardening topics.

The latest gardening topic at home is her theory that all her Busy Lizzies have been eaten by the Giant dragonflies that are buzzing around. ........ and don't even mention our conifers starting to go brown.

Hope this hasn't put you off, if you want I'll try and gag her on the day. Ha! Ha!

Just had a thought, on the NFM2 meet I used an interactive map to put everyones approximate locations so that if people wanted to meet "en route" to travel to the meeting point they could see who was where.

This time I have just used the bog standard google map (link below copied from events section) to show the two venues but if anyone wants to send me their postcodes, town or general area I'll add them to the map to give us an idea of where people are travelling from and if there is a chance of meeting on the way.

I have added myself already (Red pushpin). :)

 Do I detect the start of a cough in there somewhere, heaven forbid if you had to take a sickie. Plenty of fresh air down in the forest, I reckon you would be fully recovered by Monday, lol.

Just kidding, I know you're not that sort of a girl. :D
