I'm sure that can be arranged without too much hassle. There is a convoy link in the main events section but as there are only a few definites (7 as we speak) it will probably be better if you can PM me your postcode/location I'll add you to the map.
That way it will be easier to see who will be on your route and sort out the best candidate(s) to ride shotgun for you.

Hi Briony, have got your PM and will add you to the map. Having a quick glance, bearing in mind I don't have locations for all attendees at the moment it looks as though Mel who is in Fleet will be the nearest for you. I'll PM her later and ask where she thinks the best place en route is to rendezvous and best time.

Met up with the crew of Team YellowLuigi on Saturday night to go over route details. (The fact that it was at a Pub is purely coincidental, lol.)
Anyway, Mark has formulated a two route strategy depending on available time on the day. Basically, what this means is that if we spend more time taking photos and chatting than usual (which would be difficult) we can take a slightly shorter route to make sure we don't miss lunch. :yum:

Hi Alphacos, glad we made a good enough impression on the O/H for her to want to do it again. Looking forward to seeing you both on the day and try not to kill too many flies on the way down, lol.
Where are you coming from and I'll stick you on the map and that way there might be a chance of some of you guys meeting on the way down.

I'm going to be away at the weekend (MITCAR). When I get back on Sunday evening I shall need to contact the SWAN to confirm lunch reservations, so that will be the last opportunity to be assured of a place at the trough, lol.
At the moment there are 14 definites and quite a few possibles so I am going to stick my neck out and book 20 places to guarantee that up to six last minute attendees will be covered.

Update on times for meeting at Fleet Services. If anyone wants to travel down in convoy Mel will be there at 9.00AM and will be leaving at 9.15AM sharp to ensure that she arrives at the Green Dragon at abou 10.15AM.
Anyone wanting to do this please post in here before Friday 6.00PM and I will PM her to let her know the score. If I don't hear back then Mel will make her way to the meet by a different route.
