Can you tell me, which numbers are definitely wrong and which are correct?
0281006028 is the wrong, factory-fitted one. I think the proper one has been superceded.

Here's a photo of my differential pressure v engine speed. What, if anything, does it tell me? The particulate filter clogging runs from 90% at the beginning of the run to 96% at the end.

@Jiwawa Can you please confirm what is the basis of you stating that "0281006028 is the wrong, factory-fitted one"?

From information I've gleaned on this thread (that this Bosch part was not released for our engines) and also my own investigation.

It would be great if we could find a fleet owner who had these vans at the beginning. There's a suspicion that the delivery vans, with much higher mileage, would have hit the problem within the warranty period. Were they changed under warranty without alerting the rest of us to the problem?

@Serrow225 post would indicate a problem.
Could be nothing, but another thing I noticed when I bought van I painted exhaust with high temperature paint, and on v28 old map it would burn off near DPF , after v32 and new MAP I very rarely have to apply new paint, so it would seem exhaust gas temperature is lower now ... Just a observation on my van ?????

@Jiwawa Thank you for your reply.

The lefthand side column shows injector correction values and the injector value durring regen. I cant see reference to the differential pressure.

I will order a new sensor in the Fiat. Cost 100 euro. I don't see any other way to check it.

@theoneandonly the injector correction values were deselected. The pink line on the graph shows differential pressure sensor, the red line the rpm.
The pressure varies between 4 and 50 mbar which is typical for these Ducatos. Only if it goes above 100 do i get concerned about dpf clogging/ regen. There is thread about an Irish guy JB with dpf blocking issues due to injector problems (incorrectly named)

So, tomorrow or Monday I can pick up my Ducato from the workshop. A new DPF and a new LPEGR cooler were installed in mid-February. Last Friday, all injectors were sent to Bosch for testing. Three were fine, one was slightly off and will be professionally reconditioned. The three good injectors are being cleaned. The MAP was checked; according to the workshop, one was installed that was incorrect according to Fiat's program that the workshop can access. The differential pressure sensor was also replaced. When I pick up my car, I'll get the part numbers. I hope this finally puts an end to the whole tragedy.

I just picked up my Ducato. It runs like hell. Unfortunately, the workshop couldn't install the V32 update. Four attempts were made, but the car wouldn't start. However, the workshop looked at the differences to version 28 and then adjusted the maps of version 28 to match those of version 32. The following differences exist: In the lower and partial load range, the injection quantity is lower in the 32 version. This means the engine runs somewhat leaner. Due to the reduced injection quantity, the Ducato produces fewer emissions and the injectors are protected somewhat.
Regarding the incorrect MAP sensor, the workshop manager said that it could be that Fiat had installed different batches. But any normal workshop with access to the Fiat parts list based on the vehicle's The chassis number can tell you which sensor should be installed.

Thanks for that It is extremely interesting. Any idea as to actual reduction over what range.

Unfortunately not. My post contains what the workshop manager told me and what he saw when comparing the two software versions. He meant in the lower rev range and at partial load. I hope Google Translate translates everything correctly. Otherwise, I'm happy to write in German, and everyone can translate it themselves.

But if anyone is interested in how much the whole thing cost...just under 5000 euros for the DPF, EGR cooler and small parts. 320 euros for checking the injectors, cleaning three injectors, and overhauling one injector at Bosch. 61.50 euros for a new differential pressure sensor, 35 euros for a new MAP sensor, 100 euros for small parts, and approximately 2000 euros for workshop labor. Programming and updating the control unit is included here

Thanks you for your efforts and information. Even though i cant speak a word of German i think a German version is sensible for posteritys sake and just in case someone in the future can. I think google translate has better success with German to english than it does with French to English.

The only other question I can think of is have they ever looked at earlier versions at what differences are seen

No, unfortunately, no previous versions were compared. Only version 28 (which I've installed since purchasing my Ducato) and version 32. My Ducato was first registered in June 2019.

Part numbers info
O ring LP EGR cooler to engine block for the water cooling Fiat 5801920151 - cost enormous
