Kev, I am soooo excited about this! Can't wait to get it restored and on the car! (y)

Yep they are nice!!!..Will make a big diff...(y).then again the Abarth cinq one i have is small and fun..:D.worth keeping an eye out for them..i also have a nearly new Mountjoy which is slightly larger than the Abarth which is very nice (was lucky to get it from James..(y))

I too have been thinking about putting in a Cinq steering wheel as they look to be a bit chunkier and be 'soft-ish' material rather than the narrow hard plastic Panda wheel.

I take it they are a direct replacment, but is the indicator cancellation affected, or is it direct on the column?

Cheers, Tom.

I have one fitted Tom. So much nicer, softer on the hands and more to hold on to.

Direct replacement

Theres a guide i think

Only thing to make sure of is that you get the wheel lined up with the switches on the indicator stalk that switch the indicators off. other wise you end up with it click over and having to turn them off yourself. Something i need to fix.

Cheers Craig. Now off to ebay...

Had a fiddle last night:eek: and sorted out the indicator problem.

For reference, when changing over, there is a ring bit on the stalks, it has a metal pin facing out, and a cam style bit just behind it on the inside. found if this is in between the two switches(you'll see what i mean) they seem to work well. turn off as soon as the wheel starts to wind back to centre position

Weekend panda'ing - Thats even got it's own thread!

I fancy doing a coolant change tomorrow. Not done one beofre and i don't know when the ladt one was, so it can only do good

Any one got some good tips? I know the basics, and will probably have a go at back flushing the rad. Really don't know what to expect!

Expect wet feet and shriveled up fingers :p (if you flush the system as much as I do  :p).

Not really any tips, other than get the 'mix it yourself' coolant to make up and have a big seal-able container (I've and only 10L car was soap tub from work :)) to mix it all in one go and then have left over stuff to be ble to top it up to correct concentration when you need to (y)

Panda Wise, I cleaned up the outside of the Sisley for it's sale today.

Was speaking to dad, and he said in stead of sticking the hose in and manually flushing, get some "radflush" you just pour it in and it breaks up all the crap. Then do a proper change end of summer

As for "coolant", what is it

Is it a seperate solution you mix with water or is it the final solution?

To me, its the whole lot, becasue that is what cools the car. watter+anti-freeze=coolant

I have seen in other threads though, that you mix 50% water 50% coolant

Confuses me immensly
