Just sounding out if this Car is worthwhile selling at this point in its life.
It’s my daughters car, which to be fair she has loved and doesn’t want to part with. But it failed the MOT over 2 years ago and she’s finally coming around to the fact that I’m not going to restore it for her.
It needs welding in the usual places, sill and rear suspension pick ups. Plus the rear brakes are shot.
MOT history is on line.
The engine is fine and transmission seemed to function OK when last used, but has a leak when hot, I think it’s from the cooler pipes.
What’s the going rate for one of these at the moment, in the state it’s in?

Model
Panda Selecta
Year
1993
Mileage
46600

As they say condition, condition, condition. I’ve just spent £3k for a good 93 1000CLX which is rich I know, but given the list of issues on yours and it will need trailering away you may struggle to crack a grand. Worth saving though and it will make a nice car for someone if they are handy with a spanner and a welder.

I think she would be happy with half that to be honest.
I know it would be worth a lot more with an MOT, something I told her when it had one! But it’s been sat and not moved now for some time, so it’s better moved on to someone who will look after it.

Considering I got £500 for one that was a non runner, same rust issues as yours, a ripped interior and both door bottoms gone, you’d be surprised how much you’ll get

I’ve just purchased an 1992 selecta but I have no ownership book pack. If you are not keeping your car or have decided not to pursue restoring it might you be prepared to part with the book pack (if you have one)? Of course I would pay. Hope I haven’t misunderstood your post. Thank you. Michael

Hi, no, the book will need to stay with the car, whether we sell it or keep it.
Sorry.
