removed front suspension (is that spelt correctly? I've had a drink ) legs compleate from smashed Selecta today.

Now only engine and gearbox to drop and she'll be ready to go

I go for just the special ones, which seems to be every other one now

I've told parents if a good off road buggy like 4x4 comes on again though I might go for it (like the one a few weeks ago with the trailer).

Made some progress over the weekend - got the Italia 90 started with a new starter motor and a jump start from the Bianca and some fresh petrol. Have now cleaned and cut/polished it too, and put a new bonnet on. Sorted the brakes out (stuck and lots of air in them...). Had rashly booked an MOT for next weekend but that may need to be delayed as it needs some welding, and also has a split inner driveshaft boot (I think every Panda I've had has had one or other boot fail!). Still, am pleased with it so far. Just love the interior!

Thanks everyone, the encouragement will help with the welding! Will take some photos (with a proper camera) as I go. Still on the original tailgate Kev, will fit the better one once I know all the serious stuff is sorted. Amazing what some rubbing compound, elbow grease and determination not to see a good car die can do!

If it wasn't for you, that poor Panda would be on it's way to Panda heaven.

I bought my old 750 back from the brink (it looked stunning when it was finished) and I'm sure my CLX would not have taken too much more punishment.

yes, from ebay. the leather is not torn (but maybe a little worn in places), i am hoping with some tlc (and leather cream) it will scrub up really nicely

I've always wondered if it's worth trying to buy the compleate steering column and wheel etc off of a late Panda on the contenant (sp?) with airbag etc and retro fitting

But that's just strange pointless me
