General Advice on diesel please

The slow warm up did surprise me at first as I wondered if I had a thermostat problem. Anyway as always, I was re-assured by other diesel owners on this forum and it's not an issue.

I didn't buy my diesel specifically for economy etc - I just love the torque and relaxed driving a diesel can offer. However, if I want to accelerate hard I just let the revs run over 3k to get the full benefit of the turbo and away I go!

This gives me a choice of driving styles to suit my mood or the CD playing at the time.

Horses for courses - there is another thread on here saying how pants the 1.2 is on the motorway, problems the diesel simply doesn't have. I think I read that the the power output on the 1.3 is greater the 1.4 until about 3500rpm as well.

My advice to you is get a Diesel reminder on fuel cap.
Because that green pump will cost a lot of money f you use it
