Part fitting I see these with 500 miles on clock and heat exchanger cracked yours done high miles I’ll be surprised if heat exchanger ok they crack causing hole allowing hot gases to leak big job to replace heat exchanger

Only had recall checked a few week ago, parts arrived 2 weeks before Christmas,
It will get done,

Ive broken the journey in to legs and so far the fuel consumption has been 24mpg (strong wind and rain, 25mpg(strong wind and rain, 29mpg(flat roads with no wind) and 23mpg(mountains).

After 3,400 miles, I have averaged 24.9mpg (best 26.8, worst 24.9) with a 3.5t max weighted MH with large overcab bed. These figures are brim to brim and not off the trip which surprisingly averages .3 mpg worse on average.

I skipped 3 generations of Ducato moving from an X230 2.8JTD to a X290 2.3 130 MH and expected a quantum leap in terms of drive and refinement. The X290 is more comfortable and a better place to be with better headlights but I still feel as frazzled after a long drive and the 2.8JTD was livelier - mpg and power will probably improve as the miles go on.. but with this being a MH that may take several years.
