Decided, in-between showers today, to investigate the ticking Victoria has developed after Mondays show.

Turned out that spark plug in cylinder 3 had decided to undo itself by 2/3 of a turn

Tightened up, along with 2 which was following suit, although 1 and 4 seemed fine, and all is now back to normal.

Might explain the increased fuel consumption also.

Lucky beggar (y) Tomorrow its my mission to change the cam belt tensioner and belt, fit reconditioned 90amp alternator and new drive belt, change spark plugs, spark plug leads, air filter, oil filter and oil. Cross fingers that all becomes sorted out and Predator is again running on all four legs without the limp :worship:

Engine Service on Vicky this afternoon. Used her for work today as Bravo is US'ed and pending trade in for her replacement (****ing modern cars ) so decided to treat her. Oil and filter change, and plugs - these were the plugs, only 14 months and 3200 miles!

Jebus! I guess one of them is the one that kept getting loose?

on "christine" i have fitted a clock , and, today, have put a "brand new" handbrake grip on,as the CLX didn`t have one, cambelt time due,(29,987miles)
This time. I have done some post MOT work, after renewing the "very black" brake fliud, for the pass, I have put 4 new tyres on, put 3 door plugs in,and 4
new pocket retaining clips, tried to get them out of a old panda door with no luck, saw these on partsworld site :worship:,have a brand new pocket somewhere, lock-up 1, me thinks!

Nothing much today, but I did think the sun was not going to help Bella's already cracked sunnies, so I put the blanket my grandma made about 50 years ago on her! Maybe it would make a good roof scheme idea for somebody with a hard top!!
Going to start on repairing passenger side of the rear arch area this weekend.

got ivor a cinquecento sporting steering wheel today

and also a bottle of fe-123 rust converter, that cost a fortune so it better work

That's a chemical symbol is it Dave, rather than shorthand for "f"expensive? ;)

So when's Ivor appearing at a show then? I'm starting to think he doesn't exist in reality, and you're just claiming to have a famous TV star living with you! (y)

fe-123 is a practial classic best buy, i only got it because i ordered 2 other free things with it that made it worth it, but the free stuff didnt come with it and i had no email or any thing to tell me why, i may have to open a paypal dispute to get refund :(

Don't you just hate that - I'm fed up with chasing people who can't get an order right!!

So Ivor at MitCar, or Shelsley Walsh did you say? :)

Forgot to mention, decided to dig out all of the wheels I've collected over the years to sort out the good from the bad, scrap the damaged ones an sort the salvageable to have them sand blasted and powder coated at some point in the future. I was very surprised at how many I found, this is what happens when you've too many sheds etc!
