All down to taste I know but I think the lovely chillout purple would look infinitely better with traditional shiny alloy coloured alloys rather than black ones.

I actually agree with you but she's got a thing about black wheels at the moment. I'll have to work on her in the meantime to try and convince her otherwise. Shame the colour choice for the Street is so limited though.
Well I took a leap of faith/insanity and ordered a chillout purple Without seeing it with black ambience black leather lounge and seeing the pics has definitely made me relax a little!! Just have to wait till the 1st September to go pick her up!!

I forgot to ask !
I was back at the dealers today and he put September 30th estimated date on a form but that seems unlikely, a bit too optimistic. I was told earlier it would be 10 weeks maybe but not really sure. Waited 14 weeks for current little 500.I did the same with Epic Blue
Chillout purple is a really great colour, definitely suits the 500. I'm sure Black ambience will go great with it.

I think that should be about right from what my dealer was saying. I'm still debating the New Age Cream.. its very annoying that dealers dont seem to have made the decision to get any demo cars in in this colour.. I would be happy to see a photo from a UK dealer or travel to see one in a dealership but I dont think its the sort of colour dealerships will bother getting in.. If anyone does know of one anywhere, please let me know,,!!

I too would have been happy with just a photo or a trip to a different dealer just to see a colour. My dad actually rang Fiat to see if they knew of any dealers that had a new colour in or were getting one but they just said no, something about being very new colours so dealers might order them in but they won't get them yet, if at all. They should use those little paint sample bits that you see for some other car makes.
New Age Cream looks so difficult to judge on the configurator/promo pics, so I can see why you'd want to see it on an actual car.
I will be counting the days. It will probably drive me mad not knowing what the colour will be like

Is it..?? Lol.. if it is it appears that Fiat have amalgamated (dont often get to use that word..!) Epic Blue, Chillout Purple and Black into one and the same colour..!!

I hope that's not Epic Blue...
I'm pretty sure there's a car that colour at my dealers in their sale on the forecourt, I keep having to walk past it to get to the door. It's blue but very almost black.
Fiats configurator and advertising is not an accurate representation of the colour range,
photos taken by digital cameras and viewed electronically do not represent the colours accurately either, so when it comes to any colour it is best viewed in person on the car IMHO!

The italian name for epic blue is Blu dipinto di Blu. You can see it and the other new colours on this youtube video as they zip round a mini roundabout . I'm fairly sure the car in that advert on the German site is epic blue now as there is a definate green/teal tinge to it.

I thought the one in the German link looked more like Rock n Roll Blue, but I might be wrong.

I was at the dealers today and the only new colour they had was still just chill out purple! Picked up a swatch book (in the shape of the car) and it was more lavender/mauve than the actual car colour on the forecourt!
Was going to say that if Dulux paint shades were so misrepresentative of the actual colour they would soon lose business - then I remembered how I used to work at a DIY store and customers complaining about colour charts not matching the purchased paint ("it will look better on the wall" we used to tell them!)!
Think a metallic navy blue 500 would look the dogs.....

Has metallic navy blue not been an option before then? I saw a 500 yesterday that looked to be navy blue and it looked fantastic.. perhaps they'd had it resprayed themselves..?
New Orleans Blue has been discontinued
