12 months in the making. Lost count of the number of new panels (all 4 corners, front and floor….) and a wonderful new paint job.
Dinitrol applied today. I suspect there may be many questions to come as the rebuild progresses.

Thanks Ben. Not entirely sure how to do that! I have hundreds of photos of the body being rebuilt.

I should make a little guide for that, but to put it simply:

Header over to the garage (https://www.fiatforum.com/garage/)

Click the

button

Choose the vehicle type (well in this case just click FIAT Cars)

Select "500 Classic" as the prefix

And then fill in the rest of the details, noting that the first photo you upload will become the cover photo (although this can be changed afterwards).

A thread will then automatically be created in the Members Motors forum, so people can now discuss it (y)

Posting an update

When you want to do an update, go back into the garage and to your car's page (if you can't find it, use the your published vehicles link

)

Then at the top you will see a
1647766247530.png
button, which is what you will use to post updates. Each update will appear as its own entry in the
1647766376339.png
tab.

You can attach images directly to an update, so it keeps them all together :)

Once the update is posted, it will then also automatically update the main discussion thread, so people can read through everything chronologically and make comments in the right order :)

Whilst you could just post updates as replies to the main discussion thread, they won't then appear in the updates tab - so for longer threads it can get harder to find the update posts :)

Hopefully that's simple enough to follow?
