The clutch and gearbox work still at least almost normally, but the car weighs over 5 tons and has been driven over 120k, so I'm considering overhauling the clutch before problems arise.
I would like to install an updated clutch so that in the future I don't have to worry about plastic chips causing problems.
One repair shop said that they have installed SACHS clutches without any problems.
However, one expert repair shop said that problems would arise over time with clutches other than the original LUK, because they are not self-adjusting.
I was thinking of doing the repair in my backyard, so can I "teach" the new clutch plate using MES? I have no previous experience with Multiecuscan.
Do you have any experiences or advice to share?
