I would imagine, more hoped that someone in this group might be able to help me.
I have a 2016 Autotrail Delaware with a Comfortmatic gearbox. This morning I had a warning sign on the dash that it could not select any gear.
I called out recovery and they checked the fault codes and under the TCM (Transmission Control Module) is a failure:
P2919-64 Transmission Control Unit Faulty (Csc Fault) Signal Plausibility Failure.
As many of you know these gearboxes can be temperamental although have had no issues in the past.
Can't find any local garages that understand it and I understand the Fiat software is not easy to read on other Code readers.
I contacted the nearest place which is the main fiat dealer in Cribbs Causeway in Bristol and they say the next available date for a diagnostic test is 13th Jan.
I had planned to drive down to spain for Christmas and then onto Morocco, this won't happen now though.
As a retired engineer I know that sometimes a small failure can reflect as a major one but finding it can be tricky.
If anyone can give me any pointers, from past experiences, I would appreciate it very much.
TIA and a Merry Christmas to you all.

Hi
Have a look at my posts buddy I mentioned everything to check
But type your code here https://aftersales.fiat.com/elearns...osi per DTC&validityName=3.0 JTD EURO V/EURO5

This is probably going to turn out to be an issue with the concentric slave cylinder and it's built on position sensor. Which will require gearbox out for replacement and so a new clutch and flywheel sensible while apart. Expensive but that is a cost of comfortmatic.

Forum search of P2919-64 reveals fare bit of info, broken plastic parts fouling csc and hints of which clutch brand may be better than another.

The clutch position sensor is mounted on the master cylinder, not the slave

I need a favour if ok in multiecuscan in parameters brake light will say pressed or release then brake light fuse says off does this mean blown ? Confused because mine says off but brake light works

I’ve read on another forum some time ago that the brake switch function/logic is not as simple as one first might think. Don’t remember the details though. It might have been that there are two separate circuits in the switch, one for the brake lights and one for the signal to Comfortmatic (and perhaps the third brake light)

The clutch position sensor is mounted on the master cylinder, not the slave
Not if it is a comfortmatic (-:

Edit-looks like I was wrong with this wrong see post 10

I just look for the switch state to change when pressed and released a few times.

Assuming that "slave cylinder" is the unit that operates the pressure plate inside the bell housing and that "master cylinder" is the unit, external to the bell housing, that pressurizes the DOT4 fluid for the clutch movement, the clutch position sensor is definitely mounted on the master. Pls see page 16 in this document. No 8 in lower picture.

You are right I have changed all sensors on the comfortmatic over the years
Absolute nightmare because will give many false leading codes and short circuit etc
Biggest problem with the selespeed for me is the scuttle leaking and the area it leaks rhs headlight is the ecu the abs pump the fuse box the relays and all earth wires even gear box to chassis strap
And what you mentioned the sensors
Clutch/ gearbox speed and pressure sensor
Ducato motorhome sat left all winter leaking scuttle tray
Gearbox getting wet all contacts getting damp
It’s bad and drives me mad this van
I have had issues for 3 years straight
Not bad issues ….. but still , not nice to find when a garage charge per hour it requires yourself to do the work and learn the selespeed best you can

I have gone to lengths of fitting a new facelift from a 59 plate pre lift to a full front end 2021 facelift (still leaks)
Fully serviced the robot
New harness , new sensors , new relay , actuator, pump , fluids , clutch drain and bleed and calibration and eol which had no issues full year
Few weeks back all same issues again after all the rain
What works for me now is completely removed the selespeed harness and cleaning all pins check continuity and plenty on contact lube try stop water getting in
But my opinion now on the comfortmatic if you start getting 4 or 5 fault codes it’s a slave issue all clutch problems not engaging
This is the last thing to try now gearbox OFF and new slave and while off fit cluck kit and master cylinder £1100 so if still issues I will personally set it on fire lol
I actually think the selespeed robot will need to come off anyway when doing the clutch has its gearbox off for the slave

Yes I do the same I press the pedal and shows in mes presses or released but noticed yesterday it says fuse OFF changed fused didn’t change
I have no fog lights in mes but no lamp warning on the dash

I am just trying to get around some issues with this gearbox code po856 and body code u1600 are the only ones coming up now no dash warning lights however just stored codes that won’t clear
My understanding is for abs issue and immobiliser key issues but both keys tried and still u1600 code on multiecuscan
Got to be related to the issues I’m getting ecu and bcm
When I bought the van it had no immobiliser just a button you pressed to cut off power a hidden button
Then I wanted the ghost fitted but when he came he found out it was not compatible so fitted some device in the dash nesr ignition that required me to flash over the area with a fob when then activates the dash power this is the only work I have had done with electric tbh so maybe the u1600 is coming from this he’s fitted
