Spoke to Vern a few days ago. He's ok but had hols, a workshop to tidy, and some illness to cope with. He needs a few days of reading to catch up on the FF posts so has deliberately not been on until he gets time

Since coming back from Italy there has been a string of stuff that's had to take priority over cars. Bringing the workshop back up to speed started last Monday, and when I get time I have a few updates to post and loads of posts to read

Lidl have these for sale.
£17.99 heated and massage. It raises your seat a bit, it's designed for LHD cars and the massage distracts you. The heated bit should come in handy.

I got the seat massager thing from Lidl
Only problem is I can't use my cigarette outlet and have headlights at the same time.
I've had weird issues with my headlight, when I turned my side lights on. My NS light worked perfectly, but my OS light did nothing, dipped caused my OS sidelight to come on. It's been like this for a few days, got home last night and it works perfectly.
I'm assuming either bad wiring or Panda magic.

Left work, door lock frozen had to go in passenger side. (I had no de-icer, but I did have 4 half-empty bottles of Dr Pepper in the car...) Went to KFC, I stayed in the car, I had the seat massager with arse heater on. Blowers on hot. After 10 minutes, I turned the car off and unplugged the massager. after eating, I turn the car on and the heater is cold. The temp gauge was at 90 and stayed there, the car is NEVER at 90. I decided, i'll just go home.
On the way I noticed my main-beam dash light was faintly on. I turned my main beams on and off. The dash light vanished, the temp gauge dropped and the heater blew hot.
This is the best car in the ****ing world.

Heater and lights have nothing to do with each other..
Flush heater matrix and check your earths I guess. Oh and the tap on the heater matrix. Have fun in the cold or strap the heated seat to you as you work on the car.

It's still down at Vern's as far as I know. I saw it in a cage when I was there once!
