Is the nut stuck on top?
Got a blow lamp or gas cooker/camping heat it up nice and hot, it will come apart or try two spanners?

I take it you got the nut off and fixed the strap, and all good? Clutch OK?

Keep an eye on the rear tailgate electrics the wiring is known to fail.

I am writing from Germany.I have a Ford Ka 1.2.I had the same problem.And now I am triying to fix it.I will fix it because of you all. Thank you very much.

I just want to ask that where can i find this screw ? I can't separate it. or Can i put earth strap to under nut ?

Yes you can use another nut, but first heat it up using a gas torch hold in a vice and use two spanners it will come apart, you may need to heat it until quite red hot so a shield maybe needed to concentrate the heat?

I fixed problem with new cable.Thank you very much to all.It was a great feeling to start the car after my own repair.

but I could not seperate nut I have not gas torch or vice.I just put cable under the nut.
