@theoneandonly
I was going to get a copy of my setup next week for you, but having had to have an emergency gas engineer out, Ouch expensive, it will be a little delayed.
I can remember back in 2019 I had the safety recall from Fiat for the bulkhead brake pipes. Whilst in the dealership at the time (Luton) updated all the software free of charge (Engine and Comfotmatic)

I took the motorhome in to Fiat Professional this morning to begin the investigation tomorrow. They are to collect the info then involve a Fiat Technician to decide the way forward. Still no offer of financial help.

I ran Template 4 on the way up - only 7-8 miles but hopefully long enough to collect some info. I wiped out the exhaust before travelling, then again on arrival and showed that bit of paper towel to FP. They seemed surprised tho I have been telling them about this, and my fear of soot in the engine oil, for months.

T4 attached.

It seems as though I'm back again. 😭😭😭

Following codes P0236 and P0238, a week ago the same codes appeared together with P0401 ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh😭

Following service/MOT today and investigation by Adam Morey, Portsmouth it appears it could be linked to EGR/DPF problems. Oh no!!!! For which I had an expensive repair. I posted back in 2022, I think.

They suggest however, I'll be better informed in the morning, that when I had the original repair, they might not have cleaned out the EGR cooler, which might be the cause of current problems.

You put your trust in these people and they let you down, excluding Simon.

Most as expected indicating LPEGR cooler issue. The HPEGR is fine working as expected.
You are due a regen pretty soon.
The injectors pass FIAT Limmis at idle

Well thats all I can say other than GOOD LUCK

Thanks @theoneandonly, is there anything in that (apart from blocked cooler indications) that would point to a cracked DPF?
The sooty exhaust
Have you still got the service news? its also in the downloads section
maybe this is the first thing they need to do they have already replaced the HPEGR

Yes thanks, I do have the service news. They replaced the HPEGR on the last repair (Feb 24) not, so far, this time. They were about to check the injectors I believe. But in the service News that comes AFTER the DPF check.... I'm pretty sure they haven't done that.
