Strange indeed. The picture in entry #99 is for the pre-facelift models and so are the attachments below. The diagram shows the relay in the circuit between fuse and pump. The last part of the text is related to the startup-enable relay. So if anyone with the pre lift can provide any information on this relay for the pump to this thread I think just about everything has been covered
But has I say from 2009 to 2014 rhd i cant find any information on the relay location
I 100% don’t have one unless it’s hard wired
I have the pump fuse but no relay I hear no clicking in the multiecuscan test either just the pump kicks in
Very strange
I totally understand and I have this diagram myself but when I did the facelift I had the fuse box out and had to drop it for the new headlights to fitStrange indeed. I think if I follow the wires from the pump that will lead me to the relay in questionStrange indeed. The picture in entry #99 is for the pre-facelift models and so are the attachments below. Yes mate this is among what to service I was just talking about this with a member@Seanwinder22 has your Selespeed chap ever mentored a filter in the pump. You'd think that it would have...
I like his channel name Control Freak! This is his channel if anyone wants to view how he services many robots but they are all the same service https://youtube.com/@controlfreak6748?si=BtRDmud1iCFsmgOX
Thanks for finding out. I wonder how much it filters?Filter is in the rear of unit behind the 24mm nut that the hydraulic pipe screws into that come out the pump.
How much it filters ?Thanks for finding out. I wonder how much it filters?
how much is found in the filter when it's cleaned...How much it filters ?
I’m guessing they get blocked buddyhow much is found in the filter when it's cleaned...
Good info. Thanks.I’m guessing they get blocked buddy

Best to do is take it out leave it in Ali clearner overnight then power wash it held on the end of the jet wash gun dry and if you can now blow through It it’s good to go. You can get new but they come in a kit and are over £60
Just a quick update - problem diagnosed and new clutch master slave actuator fitted - supplied from Coastal Motorhome direct from magnelliAs mine is AClass I don’t think pump is switched on until key is turned to on pos.
There is a whirring sound from beneath battery box, which runs for 17 seconds
Can anyone test the comfortmatic that has no issues to see if this goes up or down please
Since the work I did I have no issues driving at the moment but did notice
Selection solenoid valve says not active
Up or down in gears which I would have thought this would register
Just goes to show tho from my own testing over the winter what you can find out
£1500 I was quoted a new clutch kit
But it was clutch sensor and evo solenoid
I did have issue with the gear sensor also
Which all these sensors are in the area below the air box shuttle leakeven the rpm sensor
But this one may be nothing ,, but from my experience every solenoid or sensor does show on mes doing something and this one doesn’t
Selection solenoid valve not active ??
Thanks mate yes mine do the same for odd gears etc but noticed this one and worried me a littleI can't find that parameter at all in the parameter list for my MES 4.8 so I assume it was added with some later program version. What does the help text (yellow window on right hand) say about it? Perhaps it is EV 3, my version only shows odd and even gears selection valves (EV1 - EV2) and clutch valve (EV 0).
(For what it's worth: for the selection solenoid valve parameters my MES version does have (odd and even gears), the readings are 0 mV with engine off and no gear change in progress. During gear changes while driving, I have recorded currents up to 1470 mA for both).
