I don't really have much future plans apart from completing my to-do list, then tidy her up a bit!

All comments and ideas are welcomed! :) :D
is that hgt speedo going to be miles out ? havent you just fitted a low mileage engine ?

problem i have here, last mot mileage recorded at 120,xxx now so i've added a realistic number on the miles such as 124k, i couldn't leave the speedo at 107k as it was when i brought it today due to mot problems, so adding 4k onto the recorded mileage will cover my backside, the engine is at 116k so it's pretty level i'd say i would of love to put it at 116k on the speedo but comes mot they'd see that and kick up a fuss :(

yeah of course it does haha. the dials will be set up to work with a hgt engine. which rev's higher and goes a dam sight quicker :p
the 'general' position of the needles MAY be different to what it 'should' be so I'd be tempted to get a satnav on and test it against it. speedo is most important.

rev counter wont be accurate I can tell you that now haha :p

Didnt think that mattered? Lol

If I make it on Sunday (currently suffering from more bl**dy kidney stones...), I shall bring my Bluetooth dongle. It's set up to show the revs and speed the car 'thinks' it's doing on my iPhone. Otherwise, you may be able to check with MES...?

Rev counter is at idle 800-900rpms.

I will test speed in a bit when i go put my pre order down for gta 5;)

benny279 win win then on the speedo!

what about seats! I remember finding a HGT in my scrappers years back. I was like a little boy given his first bike haha. only the engine was left after I bought everything inside haha

Seats were ok, driver seat was badly torn :( hopefully find another hgt with better seats.

And defo on the speedo i love it!:D

Aha i can imagine i was like that."oooooo hgt!"

Haven't posted here for a while , she's had some recent work done by myself in time for the mot (next month!) So here's what I've done since last post....

1. Oil change plus new filter.
2. Coolant change plus flushed then filled with a good 50/50 mix!
3. Replaced one drum as it was heavily scored so that's an mot failure not anymore!:D
4. Replaced both n/s/r o/s/r wheel cylinders as they had seized (plus bled the cylinders)
5. Replaced both n/s/r o/s/r brake shoes along w/ adjustments so it holds on 1-3 clicks and it does exactly that!

Last on my to do list after new year of course is replace the rocker cover gasket along w/ sealant for extra hold and protection :) then she will be ready as day for an early mot appointment:)

Here's two pics of me doing the shoes, unfortunately didn't get a chance to take a pic with it all done it got dark and phone died:(

Probably next update will no doubt be near mot time with results!

Hope everyone has a good Xmas and new year!

Peaceeee!
