I'm at a point in my driving I'm ready to get a car with more power and a car that has bodywork in mint condition unlike the punto!

I know what you mean by it but we all get bored of a car and want an upgrade. And this is the time for that let someone else take on the punto a bit of dedication it could be a nice project I think. Too busy these days for projects

Ah time isn't on their side anymore for the mk2s , and mine has joined that. I mean if that much has rotted away and patched. Its just gonna turn into a welded up car to stay on the roads legally year after year! Money ain't a issue for me just rather have a car less problems or none and be able to spend money on myself rather than repair after repair. I know Ziggy drew the line with his mk2 with rust. Be sad to see it go but ah well new car new mods

I had to scrap mine
A it was old
Itd already had new gearboxes ebgines rear axles etc alot of it werent original
But mine was rot on the sills to floor
There was simply nothing to weld to that was secure or atrong metal

My misus was sat near the weak point's, for mine hers and any I have an accident with for safety I needed to say its time


Do miss it tho, but hey every book must ebd and a new one shall start

Every book must end....true saying! Its been a fun 2 years with it, just now need it for this family issue. Then in summer or October time I'll be sitting in a new car! This punto will always be missed!

Hows bumble bee zigs? Hopefully in better shape than skippy

Sorry reading about the rust issue, glad you got it MOTd. I'm collecting a Mk2b 2004 tomorrow, how long will that have before rust becomes a major issue? I will be taking preventative action of course, but say it has had none previously how much damage could have been done so far? It didn't look to bad but it's hard to check properly when its not in the air.

rust will always creep up on us eventually , but when rust becomes an issue then its time to throw in the towel and move on, but that ain't my only reason for selling it other reasons i've been driving 3 years i want something more powerful that fits me better

best advice to you, is get it in the air, and poke about with good enough force watch out for any brake lines or other vital stuff under there, poke at the sills with force, should they be rotten it will go through! and land yourself a big bill already. check the rear section sills on n/s and o/s. check floor pans etc. you dont wanna buy this punto then end up more out pocketed than you anticipated! remember old cars come with a price on their heads, they require nothing but tlc meaning look after it and it'll last years!

This punto deserves to go to another good home where it always be looked after. And shown off

Just ordered these!



I originally had night breakers until both died at different times so I'm rocking bog standard h1 bulbs!

Until now woke up at this time randomly, and had to buy another nightbreakers not the ones I had before but the intense cool blue night breakers h1s.

Now some of you may not like the blue effect but I do so that's all that matters

And yes, these are road legal!

Shall show a pic when they arrive!!!

well as promised!

but unfortunately, they got the order mixed up but i ain't complaining anyway still happy! they gave me night breakers unlimited the new ones that have up to 110% more light on the roads plus up to 40m of a longer beam compared to standard lights. like i was previously running and this image im about to show will prove that point straight out the window!

was suppose to get intense cool blue ones, but never mind they weren't all that blue tbh!

thats it for now until new car!

Nah, just twin set so either for full beam or normal. But considering I'm selling no point spending more on it .

I'd say its worth buying them!

so i got a pleasant surprise today!

as i originally ordered the cool blue ones, i got the unlimited ones instead which isn't bad no! but today i got another parcel i was like huh?! i only ordered one set opened it up and what you know the cool blue night breakers!

fitted them and i think these a lot better the brightness is mad, i got a car park in front of my house, and it lighted that car up like a christmas tree!

heres a pic for you lot to look at!

again, i must note this is the LAST mod on this car from me anyway, wherever this car will crop up again when ive sold it i dont know but i hope so would be nice to see it progress further!
