90? My old engine before its end of life, i got it to a stable 110mph no downhill straight road....no feedback on steering wheel. If you have a 1.2 8v punto and ir can only do 90 , then it has problems

I never push the engine over 90. Driving a 115 on your old engine could be the reason on why it died

Nah if that was the case it would of buggered up weeks later of that but i did this early this year so, the engine dying was caused by a crappy job of a hg repair done by previous owner

Ah ok fair enough, lucky I've got a fiat specialist mobile mechanic, and yes he's Italian too lol

Ah fair play, im a level 1 mechanic so i can do hgs if i want to , but my old engine wasnt simple as changing hg and taking a few shavings off the head....it needed full bottom end rebuild the crankshaft was buggered.

So finally cleaned the Punto yesterday of hours spent on it to get it nice and shiny! even got some scratch remover on the boot door as there was 3 marks on it....scratch remover and many attacks they are gone!!!

So heres a piccie!

Shined up like a new penny, so clean car + new engine = a win win situation IMO!

Me too mate and runs so smooth as well , dunno if its normal but this engine seems to be quicker than old engine like it has more power than old one? Lol not complaining though its well fun!

And oh yes i have a few things lined up, but if i said them here whats the point ., no point so wait and see mate!

Hope to be at trafford next month btw mate
