General Another passenger for the 500...

All of a sudden, I'm deeply worried, Portland is a small place and just about everyone is related :rumour: (in a non worrying way of course!) Again, I can say that, I earned that right back in 1968!
I don't think you need to worry. :) I was born in '72 and we lived in Fortuneswell near the air station for the first year then moved to the village nearer the Bill (forgotten the name) until I was about four, I think

Looks like you and I are both OK - we moved away. We've seen the world!

You'll have lived at Southwell then and if you were there in '72, I was also living in Fortuneswell at that same time.

I didn't get away until '87 and yes, I've seen the world, I've been incredibly lucky. :)

Thanks to you all for your comments, much appreciated.

All going well so far with the few trips we've had in the 500. We were originally going to go for one of the Quinny buggies (can't remember which) as we'd seen on here that it would fit nicely in the boot.

In the end we went to an independent shop in Exeter and were recommended the MaxiCosi/BebeConfort Streety travel system (at £250 it was very good value as it included the car seat).

The seat is a bit of an effort getting in and out of the car, but the buggy itself folds up really well in the boot. Will take some pics and add to the relevant thread on here for anyone who may be interested!
