Technical Passenger Airbag Reactivating

Hi,

I have a 2012 Pop and need the airbag off - which I’m able to do. But recently when I start the car it’s activated again (aka passenger airbag deactivated light is not on). I switch it back off because I have a car seat in the front but I’m concerned is it actually “off” if it keeps switching back on.
It’s not every time, maybe once every three times of starting the car.

Is there a way to permanently disable it without using the menu?

Any thoughts or insights would be useful. Thank you.

Best bet is to ask a dealer service desk. I suspect its as stted by john202020 an auyo on thing. Trouble with a dealer is to actually turn it off with the Fiat software it would be north of £100 due to their diagnostics standard charge for plugging in. I cannot see anything in MES to turn it off more permanently.
