Evening all,

As some of you will be aware our first child was due on November 10th; he has finally decided to make an appearance!:)

He was born last Thursday at 3.50am (a week late) and we've called him Jacob Oliver. Weighed in at 10lbs which was a bit of a shock!

Been out a few times in our 500, and I think the rubbish suspension is going to work a treat when trying to get him to sleep...(y)

Very many congratulations! Something definately in the genes of Devon folk. I too was a 10 pounder born in the depths of Dartmoor, very near Princetown. I have been my mothers least favourite child all of my life!

I hope young Jacob brings you much joy. That's pretty sincere coming from a bloke with no kids!

Don't know why all the other miserable ****ers haven't congratulated you yet! :p

Congrats and many safe winter miles :D

Congratulations, Super Uwe. Your life will never be the same again! The first few months are the least complicated so make the most of them. Watch out for post-natal depression. The lack of sleep can make you both irrational.

Congratulations to Mrs SuperUwe and yourself on the birth of your son Jacob Oliver. May he bring you great happiness and joy.

My late mum used to tell me about how my dad used to bring me off in his Morris Minor van at night to get me to go asleep. If Jacob is a bit of a car buff he'll enjoy his little spins in the 500. Remember to take plenty of pictures. The very best. (y)

Congratulations! You know funny you say that about the suspension, i have a 2010 Fiat 500 so i am fine suspension wise.
The first time i went into a friends 2008 Fiat 500 and we went over a bump; i thought his suspension was broken!!

Needed to check the manual first to see if there was anything in it relating to this type of situation. :p

Congrats from the grimwau family in the South, very deep South of Dorset. (y)
