It’s crazy that Fiat get away with rounding that 80-something horsepower UP and you have to pay for it… if only we could round UP a couple of hundred off from the price they expect to receive for the sale of the car and its servicing. Something tells me the court would side with them on that too 😒
 
I've been head down on my laptop for about the last half hour looking at the forum threads from before I went to bed last night. Now finished replying/commenting on them and looking forward to my morning walk. Looked up and out of the living room window and, blow me, it's snowing! Maybe I'll put off the walking for a wee while?

I'll put up with the snow more than the frigid cold we have this morning. It was -2F with a -25F windchill. It's a good thing I have other sources of weather info because F'ELON and the FELON have shut down the National Weather website during their coup from within. 😡🤬

I foresee lead flying before much longer.

You and me both. Tesla stock is tanking, so that's actually making me smile. He's supposed to be opening a dealership where my youngest lives and that's seeing daily protests.

Good point. Meal Team Six and the Gravy Seals talk a good fight but they are as effective as Star Wars Storm Troopers with their AR-15s. "Let's close our eyes and spray."
 
Trundling along the main road into this tiny town, preparing to turn right, and emerging from my target location is a County Council van. As he joins the main road, he lifts a large tablet to his face. The road he has emerged from is a one-way street, he is going the wrong way. So that's £200 & 6 points for the tablet, and another £100 & 3 points for the one-way street.
Council website has an online contact form, but no facility to upload the dashcam vid. Perhaps I should just send it to the police.

At 12s the van comes into view. As we get nearer, the One-way sign is visible above the van. At 25s, he lifts the tablet.
(Sorry about the quality, it is a very cheap dashcam. Time stamp is about 5 minutes fast, date is 5 days fast, as it thinks it is the 23rd already. When not powered by the car, it the clock runs fast. Resetting each time is tedious, so doesn't happen.)

Yep the driving is really not up to scratch. The bloke in the orange motor is hanging back to far, not going fast enough, and certainly not close enough by far to the car in front, and, when given the opportunity to dominate and get REALLY close to the beige car in front he still diesnt get stuck in. I ask you what this does to the Pandas reputation as a high powered italian stallion? Well not much. In future you must overtake cars wating to turn righ at speed as well. Remeber he who hesitates stays alive. Show me Pandas can do what germ an cars can do ! By the way, you should also have SHOT HIM!

If you had done as I correctly suggest you would have hit him head on and he would have been banged to rights. I sent a file to Essex police that should have the perosn concerned banned for a good while. hey chose to nothing. I will make entirely sure the officer of the law dont ever get hold of my memory card from the dash cam. I reckon they would have spent more time calculating your speed to see if they could book you than eber they would to deal with the concern you express. Is it really lack of time or something less creditable....

Car insurance is due. Renewals by email in coded files with passowrds. Now that P****S me right of for starters. 9 emails That ditto. Why not 1 email stating the cost and giving the proof of NCD. To find that you need a microscope and its also been rounded down. Then there is the cost. When asked what the **** they think they are doing hiking the price by 6 times the rate of inflation they state "oh thats insurance inflation". I am still scraping myself off the ceiling. When my pension goes up 30% Ill pay but until then you stand NOKINCHANCE I will consider paying this B robbery grade price. I can get all 3 Pandas insured for £450, but want something off the bottom of the barrel. I have said Im prepared to pay double the minimum. We shall see where I end up. And as to the **** about we can save you £361 or £520 off your insurance words fail me. Where do they get this stuff. I have written off my existing supplier as I can get a better product for this price from Chris Knott. As CK want to charge a £50 admin fee on each policy I have suggested that they reduce the cost by £95 and they wont. so we move on again. Ive more or less decided I want a broker to be involved and a local one may be best so we shall see. I think an average for the Pandas of £330 each is enough to get a decent deal. If I can't get this I will go SORN 1 car and teh insurers will get very little out of me as I will do the other on the cheapest insurance I can get which appears to be around £150. As they make life so difficult I may as well just have 3rd party and deal with any fall out of cost of damage oand have control on all repairs. The "you must use our repairers or pay an extra £150 excess ahouldbe made ilegal as a clause. If not, they can then roll it up and stick sideways where the sun cannot be seen. I WILL have my car repaired by local craftspeople where I can keep my eye on it and supervise the fitment of genuine parts. I dont keep the thing in 5* showroom state for some moron to fit secondhand non genuine parts to it somewhere abroad and that is final. Brassed orf. You can bet. Is the rant over? The jury is still out

I had to go to the dentist today for a CT scan prior to getting my implants done next month. CT scan was pretty cool. Every time it spun around my head, my hair, what's left of it, would stand up. Grumpy part is that the CT scan showed thinning bone where one of the three implants is going, so they're going to be doing a bone graft in that spot. There's another $2K. The dentist plans to to get the bone graft and the studs for the implants done in one day. The crowns will be done in June or July. So for a few months, I can kind of be like Jaws in the 007 films.
