Decent Budget Tyre Supplier
Pros
  • Budget Level Tyres
  • Fast service
  • Reasonable costs
  • Usually fix punctures for free
  • Honest about alignment / extras being needed or not
Cons
  • Must be watched when handling wheels / alloys
  • Phone around and turn up for best price and question differences
  • Not competitively priced when specific tyres sought
I used this tyre shop a lot with my first Panda. Tends to maintain a great stock of common tyre sizes. Offers budget brands and their own 'Lassa' (budget, but not total crap) branded tyres (owned by Bridgestone?) so not the worst. Availability during the week is good, can turn up and get sorted and be away fairly quickly. Decent enough guys. Just watch them handling your wheels.

Shop next door for something to do while you wait.

If you're nearby give me a PM!

Best Body Shop in NW Northern Ireland - but not perfect
Pros
  • Capable of a stellar repair job
  • Big insurer approved
  • Makes time to look at problems
  • Gets there in the end
Cons
  • Sometimes takes a second visit to have a problem sorted out properly
  • May need to get into a debate in order to have repairs done properly
  • Have lied about aspects of work
  • Can be pricey for private work
Two experiences of this shop - one severe rear quarter damage, fixed privately ~£700 all in. They did a stellar job in a week at getting the very complex arch / sill / inner sill area pulled back to as new shape. Colour on a rear door was off, doors not aligned but rectified at a later date following a bit of an argument. But in the end, the car was truly painted better on the repair side than the other factory painted side! Shame it took another visit. Next car / experience, fixed on time and using genuine parts as specified. Parts didn't fit right (clip fitted backwards), they solved it fast but still the car has the slightest dent where the tail light fits on, no broken paint. No desire to try and get this sorted because of the hassle it'd take for something not so noticeable.

All-in-all, this is still the best choice in the area faults considered. They get there in the end though and are much better than the alternative. I would and will go there again if the need arises. They have been in business a long time, have (or had) multiple sites in NI and are the second biggest in the area. Pay by card in case any required discussion requires a reminder to them to get work done properly and you're safe.

Still the best body repair shop in the North West of Northern Ireland. Avoid Lloyd Cooke Motors who damage cars and threaten customers.

Good Tyre Shop
Pros
  • Flexible Booking Slots
  • Be Seen Earlier
  • Reasonable Fitting Price
  • Gentle on alloy wheels
  • Allows you to watch work
  • Works with BlackCircles / Premier Fitter Status
  • Friendly banter
Cons
  • Have had to return to have balancing redone once
  • On a busy day parking spaces outside can be hard to find
Had a few cars fitted with tyres here. They work with BlackCircles so you can pick your tyres online, apply some big discount and have them fitted locally here. Very friendly on the phone, flexible on fitting slots. Have had tyres fitted sooner when I had an unexpected half day - very flexible shop. Utmost respect for your allows. Great attitude, they respect customers who hope to have their car treated with respect. Allow you to stand outside and watch the work whilst chatting to them if desired. Anytime I've had an issue (just once) they will look at it, make the time, sort it out as a priority. Can't fault them really. Cost £15 a tyre to fit tyres I sourced online one time. £10 for puncture repair.

The only Fiat dealer left in NI
Pros
  • Sales Team decent
  • Sales, Service & Used Fiat
  • Shared with Alfa Romeo and Abarth
  • Warranty Claims easy
  • Courtesy cars
  • Happy to diagnose issues via email to save long drives
Cons
  • Only option for NI Fiat owners
  • Lack of used Pandas as of 2023
  • Rigid on finance rate
  • Lie about repairs needed
I’ve used this dealership for warranty claims on my 2017 Panda. They diagnosed it via email to save me a drive. They fixed issues no problem and even replaced parts under warranty that were clearly just damaged from use. Fiat new courtesy cars are supplied. Work done was fine, professional standard - no issues with it, no damage and no mess. They did unfortunately lie about me needing new brakes all around - checked them and they weren’t even half way worn. Warranty guy in late 2019 was a bit dull and dry.

Had some test drives 2023. Sales team helpful, have initiative and enthusiastic about the brands. Very real in terms of what they can do for you and cannot. Rigid on the same fairly high APR on used cars, would not negotiate to the point of losing the sale. Friendly enough and probably mostly if anything, just suffering from Fiat’s lack of new steel for the fourcourt and lack of new EVe etc.

I’d say could definitely be worse. Not much to complain about. Only choice in NI sadly as they closed the Dungannon, Enniskillen and Londonderry dealership sites.
