Well the tech at my dealer said that if you change the whole thing over it will just happen again. Will be on my 3rd on the weekend. Didnt know they replace the whole thing, i thought it was just swapping the barrel over.
There were 3 500's at the dealer having it done...

Or do as mine did and kind of mangle the barrel into the washer body with a small screwdriver.I expect it will happen whatever they do or swap, think ill put a small amount of glue on the end to stop it coming out again.
Fixed both of mine by heating the tip of a small srewdriver and sort of melting a couple of ridges onto the barrels. Now a tight fit when inserted and nothing visible that shouldn't be there, blobs of glue/sealer.
I think that's basically what the tech did with my car without the heat.Fixed both of mine by heating the tip of a small srewdriver and sort of melting a couple of ridges onto the barrels. Now a tight fit when inserted and nothing visible that shouldn't be there, blobs of glue/sealer.

So basically they are supposed to be kinda interference fit but they don't interfere with each other enough. I know how they feel, its ages since I was inte... oh never mind.

I mixed a 30% screen fluid to 70% water 2 days ago, i was out at 3am this morning, both jets were frozen solid! (although it was -5 degrees but a lot warmer by the sea at -1)
Yes why? Well, it was a water bottle originally, even better for measuring as it's covered in ribs all the way down! But did you use a 2L Coke bottle?![]()
