Thankyou for pasting that at the very least
but I have to mention, that post is not showing on page 8 here at all, just clicked it and that comes up as page 20.
Anyhow, let us leave it at that.

Like I said, and I'm not being confrontational, you're using what are affectionately known as "noob settings" which means you don't get very many posts per page :)

Right right, I think I know what you are meaning now, wasn't aware of there being an option to change the post count per page until now (found the setting within the CP as well to change it)

Where do I go to access the been here a while now settings?

Found it under "User CP -> Settings & Options -> Edit Options -> Number of Posts to Show Per Page

Can change the settings from that section.

Many thanks Scorg - I've learnt something new today.

Tell me though - where can I access the please don't attack me Maxi setting?

thankfully, the tiny minority of panda people who have had this "non-issue" deal with it and move on, and we don't have extended whining moaning bitching and general flailing away on the floor like a screaming 4 four year old who can't get the red instead of the blue.....

"non issue"? It's actually an MOT fail on safety grounds. And if VOSA stop you and these aren't working you can receive points on your licence not to mention the fact it is dangerous. Also "trip to the dealer" for me means a 75 miles drive each way and a day off work, as I'm self employed this will cost me about 300 quid in lost earnings. So hardly a "non issue". For some people it's a major concern and problem.
