Rob your going to need to do some work on your sales process.
Your initial prospect of WeegieBob was clearly ok as it caused him to start a new thread.
Your qualification of your prospect is less relevant in this situation as there is only 1 product available to you that is anywhere suitable.
It all starts to become undone at the presentation stage. A complete lack of verified facts.
Which was only rectified when the second batsman (me) has questions. And even then the facts are only presented after attempts to belittle a view point due to a lack of concrete facts. Which as a representative of the company you should have had anyway.
Then theres the objection handling. Myself, J3BNL, White 500, Punto Matt and WeedgieBob have all raised objections non have been dealt with.
"Thanks for the feedback" is not objection handling.
Very few things sell themselves. In actual fact nothing sells itself. Someone has to sell it.
I'm sure anyone in sales will agree. It might be better if you sit back abit from the selling until you have nailed the entire process a bit better. Speak to Nigel about it, he will be able to give you a few pointers.
