Hi jack thanks for your guidance on this! Will the Amorak wheels and tyres clear the bodywork of your van when steering on full turn and suspension compressed?
What is the load rating of the anorak wheels?
If the anorak maximum axle weights is the same or greater than your van the wheels will be ok for load rating- probably easier to find axle rates than wheel rates.
Maximum Axel loadings on the Amarok is 1450F and 1800B - The Ducato is 1800F and 2000B. I don't plan on carrying a full load - but this totalled maximum for the Amarok (3250kg) is under the weight of the Ducato (3500 kg)! Surely the wheels are rated at at least 1000kg a rim though - most I've looked at from SUV's seem to be, but nothing stamped on the VW rims in regards to weight. They come OEM with a tyre rating of 110T (1090kg) per wheel, but no info on the rim.
What is your thoughts?
Rims and Tyres Clearing the body - the rims are only .5" wider - and the offset is close to original - so I can only hope they do.
There is an online calculator to help measure this (see screen shot attached) But for it to be accurate it is asking for some measurements, would you have any idea?
Also - Not going with PCD radius seated variant bolts - I've found a local wheel place that are going to enlarge the centre bore and redrill the PCD. Anyone had experience with redrilling PCD?
Thanks
