Technical Uconnect USB Port

Hi
I have a 2021 Ducato based Motorhome
The USB port for the Uconnect has just stopped working and the amber light is off.
I was playing music at the time and about 45 minutes it stopped working and says “no usb connected”.
Is there a fuse somewhere?
How do I remove the usb module?
Does it need replacing?
Any suggestions welcome.

Hello,

I don't think there's a separate fuse for the USB port, it's a digital connection. Are there any settings related to the USB on the uconnect unit?

I'd try to restart the whole unit (for example by unplugging it for a couple of minutes), but you will loose all the settings (stations memory, audio settings, etc).

Thanks for that. Strangely it is working again! Maybe just switching it off for a bit taught it a lesson! Being an engineer I think that any fault is permanent and needs fixing but electronics are sometimes a law unto themselves.
