Technical Uconnect 10 no DAB at all & intermittent blue screen

I have an ongoing issue with the Uconnect 10 headset, no DAB stations in the DAB function the scan search arrows << & >> don’t appear to do anything when pressed as though it can’t or won’t scan DAB channels, can only scan and store limited FM stations, Speaker icon with “audio system unavailable” warning light on the dash I’ll try to post a couple of pictures there’s also an intermittent fault with the reverse cam. This either works perfectly or just gives a blue screen when selecting reverse very intermittent either works or doesn’t.
We have good DAB reception in our area with no DAB issues with our other vehicles either.
Bought privately we had to put into storage due to illness, warranty had expired by the time we were able to use the van.
Previous owner claims there were no faults but pre-sale he cleared the unit of all personnel data from the phone directory, nav & pre-selected radio stations.
Fiat customer services have offered to honour a warranty claim at their discretion only if the fault lays with Fiat but I have to pay for any repairs upfront and it must be through the Fiat main dealership.
My gut feelings are this is going to be expensive going through the dealership with no guarantee of any refund. The compulsory OBD check is £120 before even they start to look for faults.
Has anyone else had this problem? or had experience with Fiat warranty?
