There's enough cable length to draw them around the edge of the engine bay...At least with mine...

I encountered another problem today. The plastic ties I used to attach the box to my engine bay are supposedly resistant to petrol and oil and for use between -20°C and +80ish°C and when I started my car this morning the thermometer read -25°C and at the end of my journey I found that 4 out of the 8 ties I used had snapped. What do you think I should use? Metal ties are available but then it will be quite hard to remove regularly.:yuck:
Fire-retardant string?
I will just have to go and ask for it I suppos. Thank you for the advice.
Well i'm not sure it will actually be called "fire-retardant string" but you can definitely get thin rope, string-like material that is heat proof up to ridiculous temperatures. Just go to a DIY store and ask.
