I have the 120 hp version.
Is it possible to take the ECU from another Fiat Bravo 1.4 T-jet with 150 hp and put into my car.
Would that work and would I get 150 hp if I do that? I heard I’d need to code the ECU first for it to work on my car.
Any help?

You cannot use the ECU from the 150 model, but you can replace the IHI VL37 turbocharger with VL36 or VL38 and remap your existing ECU.
I have done it to mine.
Hi, on the Bravo t-jet 120hp I've bought a few months ago, has had ECU tuning to 150hp from previous owner, but from day 1 it was stalling after few minutes, which I found out after purchase. Turned out ECU was physically damaged possibly during tuning, had to get a new one, car works good now, but the extra HP has gone.

I'm looking into getting more HP later, but I want to do it the safest way.
After the turbo change, I assume ECU needs to be modified again? Cheers
 
Yes you need to modify the ECU again with a new remap.

Mine also was an 120 CV version, I swapped turbo to VL36 and remapped it.

165+ CV and 270+ N.m.

I didn't change anything else.

Look carefully the hoses, oil cooler, map sensors (2), oil segregator, N75 electrovalve, and blow own valve. After 150.000+ kilometers they need to be replaced. The oil segregator if never changed must be replaced. I noticed huge difference when I replaced it. Engine breaths better.

I replaced them recently because I was facing P0240 fault code issues.

Mine has 211.000 kilometers and I must replace exhaust manifold also.

Okay cheers for the info, my Bravo has 112k so still got a bit of time, but I've already changed a few sensors here and there.

Is there any parts that after disconnecting from the power source, either to swap or clean, needs to be recalibrate/adaptation to learn the system again?
On my previous car, Audi A2, I had to do adaptation via a scanner after removing the Throttle Body and EGR valve, otherwise barely idled and even shut the engine off.
Is it the same on any parts of the 1.4 T-jet? Cheers
 
After removing the battery for doing work on the car, when you connect the pole again do the following. Battery pole must be disconnected for 45 minutes minimum.

1. Reconnect battery, and turn ignition to MAR for 90 secs
2. Turn off and leave 90 secs
3. Start engine WITHOUT pressing throttle and let the car idle for 15 mins (I repeat, do not touch the throttle whilst the car is idling)
4. Turn engine off and leave for 10 minutes
5. Start the car and go for a drive, using a number of styles (town, motorway, thrash)

This resets everything and ECU begins the relearn procedure. With this procedure throttle body is calibrated automatically.

This has been recommended months ago when I'd questions about the ECU.
If it works it's a good method, on my previous car the engine wouldn't even idle properly without adaptation, let alone run for 15min, but after that the parts would work normally.
