'erm, not seeing it on mine - where does it appear and what browser are you using? I am currently running firefox - wonder if its a IE issue...........?

It's a little stat under the avatar that says "Thanks: 0" (in my case anyway). I guess it's summat they've made so you can say cheers to people individually.
Definitely the same with both browsers - I'm on IE at work now, and Firefox at home
Ah yes - I see it, I was looking in the wrong place. Apparently its to say 'thanks - this post was useful' - I doubt I will ever get one!!!!! 
Just click the little blue thumb icon in the message box of the person who you want to thank. Its just under my picture below. I added one to you LRB if you look at your stat.
Oh yes - how cool, that won't be open to abuse!!!!

Ignition off.
Press and hold the bottom left hand button on the display, I think it is the odometer button.
Ignition on and keep the button depressed for 10 seconds.
The display will read 0000 and the spanner light will go out.
Done.

Thank you, I followed the instructions and hey presto message has gone! Any idea how to re-set the ECU? In the past couple of days it has become sluggish in 2/3/4 gears, seems to be burning a lot of petrol and is smoky at startup - probably an oxygen sensor but I will start with re-setting the ECU (if I can)..........
