ITS ALIVE!!! This was first fire up so running a little rough. After 30 mins its running alright now First time its been started in over 6 months...

Well piccolo is finally out of the garage. She's running really well and I'm very smiley. Had a quick black round the estate and seems to do well

Hoping to have her taxed and MOT'd by Stanford

Appeared to be the crank sensor. It was having the same issues as previous which was starter motor and injector. So led me down false routes.

Planning on either light silver or white. But nothing planned other than removing the checkered roof.

We'll had a few people asking what the plan would be for piccolo...

Well I'm taken her pretty much back to standard, bar keeping the alloys anthracite.

Grey insert trim will be going back to orange. Checker board roof will be removed.

its your car and all that but why change it from a sexy little looker it is into a normal, undistinguishable from any other imola cinq Not like anything on it is garish.. Everything is quite subtle...

I did think that. But in the entire time I've been going to shows I've only ever seen one completely standard imola, and that was petento before he went rat.

I've seen several imolas, but all have been modified or styled differently.

Before I decided I even looked through all my photos and the forum event pictures at the events I've been to to double check. And the closest to standard imola I've seen otherwise is James Atkinsons

So I thought, what's the way to be different.

fair enough, although i think its the condition of this car and its paint etc that makes it stand out. But i get the whole stock thing really, just like me and my GT.

i remember a yorkshire meet where all the GP lads were amazed a little classic sub 1 litre panda could just drive off from them - i was in my alfa so couldn't embarrass them all with the cinq or seiT

Piccolo is booked in for an MOT this weekend!! I'm doing my best over the next few days to do the last few bits and bobs

sorry, neglecting this at the moment. Got a lack of internet till Thursday so been struggling away.

no, piccolo failed. But on 5 things,

blowing exhaust (now sorted. I had replaced the manifold with an original one but it had a crack in it i didn't realise, however managed to fit the 4-2-1 back on with the new CAT)

headlight alignment on both sides (so 2 things)

lose battery strapping

rusted brake pipe just before the front left flexi, only bit of it didn't replace.....

so simple things
