Just an update.

Piccolo won't be at Stanford Hall this year due to lack of funds. Aiming for Trax at the latest this year.

Going to be doing odd bits over the next few weeks, such as new front brake lines and possibly braided flexi pipes

some over plans that i've had for Piccolo will start to come into place now its off the road too.

Thanks to all the donation of parts and ideas at Stanford Hall, the work on piccolo has started.

Janspeed is off, and an 899 exhaust is ready. Picking up a catalyst from a scrappy tomorrow as well as "new" lambda and flexi from Eklipze3k tomorrow.

Standard airbox is back on now as well.

these are all in aim of sorting out the emissions issue and while she in the air have chopped the brake lines off.

Mine is scheduled for Thursday but in Portugal there is always "that friend that knows the guy who tests the cars", if you know what I mean

some places are kinder than others over here, seems to me Russ went to a particularly picky one. I still think it would pass emissions if the sports cat on it was hot enough though..

Still planning on trying that theory, blu73, with a new lambda and the 899. Mainly cause the cat is rusted on... And cause I can't get hold a a cinq manifold/exhaust

Manifold is on the car, and fitting the exhaust. Front brake lines are been removed.

Haven't got the money to sort out the rust at the moment and have no idea where the coolant leak is.

Usual places: water rail, water rail O ring, water pump, fubar core plug.

Less likely: radiator, heater matrix.

Battery is on charge. getting the rust sorted.

Planning on Piccolo been out of the garage by end of November

then he'll be back in the garage and SORN'd till Feb/Mar as the tax will immediately run out. :bang:
