and i can thank you, at any point i could insure my cars and drive them, they all work and aren't rusty. Just cause i can't afford to run 4 cars at once doesn't mean they are neglected...

Yeah the cinqs been off the road for a while and it does annoy me. I'd love to be driving it around much more. But money and priorities change so quickly. Main bit needed doing now is brake lines and rust. But it has coolant and oil as previously mentioned

well the day has come....

























She's ready to rock and roll.. Kinda. everything is sorted

except.

She's not firing up again. Charged battery, injector is priming. but no ignition. im thinking at the moment the ICV is gone, either that or she's not sparking. :bang:

do the usual, check for fuel on butterfly when cranking, check for spark.

No fuel on butterfly

oo You do have petrol in the tank ? can you hear the fuel pump prime ?

Half tank and has been priming.

No spark from new ht and coil pack

Will replace crank in a moment. It's priming fuel in the throttle body but not squirting any onto the throttle (thought that was normal)

Just noticed the lamda sensor was unplugged. Have plugged that back in and put battery back on charge

Should dribble down onto throttle plate when cranked.

That doesn't appear to happen. No fuel drips onto the butterfly. Lead me to think faulty injector at first.

Usually injectors fail open, rather than shut. If no spark, TDC sensor.
