As a new member I thought some of you would be interested in my latest rescue....a classic 1984 4 x 4 Panda.(commercial, ie 2 seats only)
It was looking very sad indeed, in a field with grass growing up around it, a cardboard sign with AV 500 euros in the screen.
I haggled for it (300 euros eventually!) and only then realised as it was going onto the car trailer, it was actually 4 x 4.
I got it going in 10 minutes, but it needed a head gasket/head face job first. Amazingly, Fiat here in France do not carry spares or even details for cars over 20 years old, so unless the parts are available from independant garage suppliers you are stuffed!
I need a propshaft really (bad vibes)...any ideas if they can be fixed?
