I would bet my shirt on this being a code clearing job only. If there is no major damage there isnt really anything to be damaged but the shock could have upset an ECU module or sensor and something decided to fire off due to the shock. It has maybe partly activated a sensor and now it thinks it has a fault. The
MES software from Gendan.co.uk is worth its weight in gold and in the UK mine has paid itself back at least 10 times over,. We have 3 and latterly 4 Fiats in the family so it gets quite a lot of use. Each use saves at the very least £25 and in UK saves much more. Do a search on here on Gendan and see what everyone has to say of them and the
MES product. If you keep the car two years it will pay you back easily and is of course re sellable. HAving teh software allows you to see what is going n in the engine so even when things are running right is gives you peace of mind.
