Good morning,
Just going to change the oil pressure sensor on my wife's Panda, looks a quick and easy job going by the Haynes manual....but I'm having one of THOSE mornings and cannot locate the damn thing on the engine and being drowned by the rain at the same time. The picture shown does not seem to relate and states the front left of the engine near a lifting point.
Does anyone have an exact location on this please, pref. with a detailed photo for this engine!
Thanks :)

Perfect, thanks. It is actually hidden rather than the manual's description and will require some parts removal to properly access. Love a Haynes manual!! :)
I am having problems with my Fiat Panda 1.2 Eleganza 2006 dual logic car, had the engine oil can symbol flash on starting the engine intermittently and it goes away and comes back. Also has it says "No gear available", requires many attempts in getting in any gear manual or automatic gears apart from neutral. I checked the oil level, it's OK. I was wondering if your wife's car had the same symptoms?

Having read some stuff on Google it says it could be my oil pressure sensor is faulty which could be causing these problems?! Did you manage to locate the part and fix it? Did yhis sort your issues out? Was it easy to do? My husband could give it a go or would you advise a mechanic? Did the part cost much?

Many thanks,

I will answer in the other thread only to keep things simple, it gets confusing with two open threads on the same fault
