You mean you want instructions on how to remove it & replace?


1 remove front section of exhaust or lower it,
2 empty sump of its oil,
3 after sump bolts removed/work at making a gap in bonding on sump needs persuation with blade type object, to seperate sump.
4 clean up edge and remove any traces of old gasket,
you needs instant gasket for new sump, 10pounds or less from motorfactors,


Please follow H&S guidelines,work safetly, wear gloves/eyegogggles &tin hat,

This seems to be happening quite a bit lately. I have missed this one somehow! Just hit the report button to bring it to my attention.

To be fair, most of them seem to be from newbies who may not understand the process rather than deliberately being rude.

True. I would always cut questioners a bit of slack rightly or wrongly. They are in many cases under pressure and the Forum is a kind of Google search box of last resort. But..... manners costs nowt and goes a long way but it don't seem to be taught these days of txt spk. Where are all the Grannies gone?
