Off Topic New Forest Meet 6 - 21/08/2011

Hi guys, just to let you know that I am arranging another get together for the 21st August 2011. It will follow the proven successful format of previous years, links to which can be found below.

We start by meeting at a pub for coffeee and a chat to catch up with old friends and hopefully meet some new forum members. Then we head of for a drive through the beautifully scenic New Forest National Park led again by YellowLuigi with me being tailgunner in case anyone gets lost.

En route we will stop at a suitable viewpoint (commonly known as a car park) for a chance to take some nice photos before heading back for a Pub Lunch and a final chance to take photos and chat.

This will be our sixth get together and we hope that as many of you as possible will be able to attend. I shall be sending out a PM to everyone who has attended previous meetings just in case they miss this thread and of course as soon as the details have been finalised it will be posted in the main EVENTS section where anyone attending can add themselves to the list.

This is an Off Topic post so feel free to add any comments and suggestions in here also ask any questions you feel are relevant. If you haven't attended one of these previously please take a look at the links above to get an idea of how much fun it can be, NFM 2 also has a video shot by notts of our convoy.

We usually meet for coffee for 9.30 -10.00 before heading off for the scenic drive. Here's hoping that you can make it as it will be good to put faces to the avatars, ........... unless you happen to be lloyd in which case there's no need.

Well so far we have yellowluigi, melanabb, redbubble and myself as confirmed, with RUI, Arorat, chaazureblue and TangoTim hoping to be able to make it on the day. Still awaiting replies to quite a few PMs but hopefully, by the time it has been posted in the events section we should have good number of takers.

TangoTim is hoping to come in the Harwoods TwinAir demo car so for those of you who haven't yet had a chance to see one as yet this will be a good opportunity to ask any relevant questions.

These smaller informal meets are always good icebreakers and make you feel part of a community, something that Fiat Forum likes to encourage. It then makes it less daunting when it comes to deciding on whether to attend some of the larger meetings where we have our own area with free refreshments and the opportunity to display your cars.

Really enjoyed the last one, a little short on numbers, but great fun visiting Beaulieu in a 500 convoy plus driving Mels Abarth was ace.
