General My Fiat won’t go into gear!!

Hi I got my fiat 500 2014 last year and it started not going into gear properly, took it to garage and they suggested a new clutch. Got a new clutch in January and it’s still having the same issue 2 months down the line so isn’t looking like it was the clutch, anyone have any idea as to what’s causing this issue?

Likely the hydraulic system thar works the clutch has a leak. Its not the biggest job to get this fixed. A master cylinder and a slave cylinder connected by a pipe. If the oil leaks out you have no clutch. Air in the fluid also hasthis effect. It gets no maintenance under the Fiat service regime, and really requires a fluid change every few years. DOes teh clutch pedal feel normal when pressed? If it feels rather spongy it points to hydraulics issues.

I'd have it back to the garage. As above The Panda Nut suggestion equates to a leak. Look at the reservoir fluid level.

I suppose if the clutch pedal feels good, it could be a gear selection cable that has come off, or frayed / broken. This is a bit more involved but still not a huge job for a decent garage and could be something simple.
