Plates i run with now are technically show plates as the dont have a postcode etc on of the place that made them.
SUMMARY: What is required and permitted on UK road-legal number plates
Required:
Permitted but not required:
- White front plate (to British Standard BS AU 145d)
- Yellow rear plate (to British Standard BS AU 145d)
- The registration number of the bearer vehicle in the mandatory font (black ‘Charles Wright 2001’)
- Spacing of characters and character groups in accordance with the measurements specified in the regulations. Variation is not permitted
No additions or variations are permitted. Common illegal variations are:
- 3D variation of the mandatory ‘Charles Wright 2001’ font
- Coloured, non-reflective border
- National emblem: English St George Cross with “ENG” legend, Scottish St Andrew Cross with “SCO” legend, Welsh Dragon with “WALES” and “CYMRU” legend, British Union Flag with “GB” legend) or Euro Stars symbol with “GB” legend.
- Fancy or decorative typefaces
- Bolts placed in such a way as to alter the appearance of characters
- Adjusted spacing between characters or character groups
- Altered characters
- Additional logos or symbols, such as sporting emblems and religious symbols.

Yeah I think its a legal requirement now so they can trace the plate back to who made it.
So how would pressed plates with the German typeface fit into that?

Is it now right in saying the post code of who made them doesn't have to be present. Sure I read it somewhere recently as a new legislation or whatever its called
Awesome. I had them pressed plates which weren't legal and didn't have a single problem which is always good. They did look pretty normal from a distance though.Yep.
My last two sets of plates have had abarth badges on or were bought for about £4 off ebay.

Those ones I had were alright and could choose to have the I on or not.
As far as I know its powdercoatedwhite!! you geting them powdercoated or painted?
do eibach do shocks to match the springs, if so go for them
Bilstein B4s are the shocks to match with sportlines. Thats the best handling set up you will get on it.
Well the HGT race cars use this set up IIRC.
Fks are recommended for people who want a big drop Eibachs and bilstein shocks are best for handling.
