Re: MK2b Sporting

Bilstein B4s are the shocks to match with sportlines. Thats the best handling set up you will get on it.

Well the HGT race cars use this set up IIRC.

Fks are recommended for people who want a big drop Eibachs and bilstein shocks are best for handling.

Thanks Matt, thought someone would know which ones, knew to look at bilstein but wasnt sure which

Re: MK2b Sporting

ah right, cheers mate. may have a look at these. dont suppose you have a link for the b4's?

looks like balance motorsport are the main stockists
They dont have the rears i need though on their parts list, unless im just not looking correctly

EDIT: Think euro performance have them, can someone confirm that they are the right ones?
And which would fit the 1.4 sporting mk2b

Updates:

Ordered a new set of tyres today so they should be on by the end of the week
Getting it tracked at same time as fitting as its slightly off

Bought a leon cupra splitter, thats will be installed by end of month, dependant on free time

New boot build will be started in a week or two. Something simple that will allow me to use my boot again

Car has also had problems starting today, it sounds like its going to start and then doesnt. Not sure on what the cause could be. any ideas?

Re: MK2b Sporting

Yeah i know, its having the balls to do it though. i dont wana **** up
I have a week off work soon so i may do it then
Should i match the body colour? or just use black? or matte black?
Yeah i know what you mean, could buy a spare set if you can so you can do it in your only time & not rush it, I reckon a black similair to the body really & glossy :)
