Finally got a pic of the incomplete boot build, courtesy of smokeyjoe

Will sort out a better pic of the bodged induction at some point this week but other than that theres not much else to update really
Once ive sorted out my employment situation (moving from temp contract to permanent contract) I'll be ordering GSR kit
Then im looking at a new exhaust and better suspension

I wouldnt mind a seat leon cupra splitter but havent had chance to get one yet

MOT is due in 3 weeks so im going to get the cam belt and water pump done at the same time

So as the weather is nice, i thought id wash the car, went up to jet station as i dont have a hosepipe
came back just as dirty and the hose rubbed against the bonnet. leaving this mark

SO after 4 rounds of SRP, i managed to get it to this

Saying i was piszed off doesnt even slightly sum it up
FFS


after an SRP and wax it didnt come out too bad though

Car was looking nice at Oulton on Monday, bit envious of the grille, mine STILL hasn't been delivered.

Loved the install, just for the love of god get your lazy ass off the chair and get some spray glue, the staples need to go

Im not that keen on them anymore, its made by Vibe though. But again, so it FLi
Ive had all the edge stuff for about 2 years but not had spare cash to upgrade. Its on the list of to do things but suspension is a priority. Not keen on the PI springs i have

Yeah but whos says vibe are good? Compared to what you can get now Vibe are really at the low-end of speaker & amp makes.

I know, it served its purpose though and the install makes it easy to upgrade.
Just thought it would look good having everything the same

Not sure what il upgrade to but ive got my eye on some MTX kit

That magnet on that sub is hench. what amp would you be using?

no idea tbh, its going to be later this year so there will no doubt be newer ones out

priorities are

1. Suspension - eibach sportline springs and bilstein shocks
2. Strut brace
3. GSR induction
4. stainless exhaust - not sure where to go for this yet
5. audio upgrade

£200 for an extra 5-6bhp
its not something il consider this year. once ive got gsr and exhaust sorted i may enquire about it

How much roughly does you gain from a GSR on a 1.4 16v?

To quote the GSR website

So from 99.9 to approx 110 bhp and about 100lb ft torque

I went from 104 to 114.

EDIT: Fancy putting a group buy together for the Eibach Sportlines? I wanna get some too, and I'm sure there'd be people interested if I look on Pmk2 aswell..
