Not been able to get any pics, ive not had access to a camera during daylight

Im looking at blacking the headlights as you mentioned Matt
I just dont want to **** anything up tho, is it difficult to do?

Its time consuming. You have to cut 2 seals away on the lights to get the cover off, then paint then put back on.

Theres someone in members motors thats done it but the guidelines arent in english lol
Ive been told you can heat them in the oven to soften the seals?

Cutting them isn't too hard

People have melted headlights in the oven before lol.

This reminds me I have some de tango-ed headlights. I might have to make them for a living:chin:

Yeah, i guess its a case of getting the temperature right. I might try get a set of lights from scrap yard and cut them as a test.
If your confident detangoing lights you could probs make a bit of cash from it. Id start a thread and see if you get any interest

I bought a spare set mate and it was one of the eaiser mods on my car

Might look for cheap headlights on the bay and start de tangoing:chin:

Ive got a heat gun, was guna try that
Seen someone use a dremel to do it too

Headlights for the mk2b are going for £50 each so i dont wana spent £100 on lights really

mk2 lights are about £40 new

Scrappers should have some hopefully

Im going to dewiper the rear this weekend i think
I got a gromit that looks like it should fit coz I couldnt find what the actual size i needed was

Ive just paid £6 for a pack of 10

what size is it? it needs something like a 32mm to fit it properly

Something around the 30mm size fits

I got about 8 of these at mine! might need to start shifting them:idea:
