Styling Leather seats???? BNW or Funk White?? Opinions please
You have to admit that Heidi's car (https://www.fiatforum.com/members-motors/161843-oyster.html) does look pretty great with the cream / red interior 
Choosing colour for you new car is a very personal thing.
When we set out to purchase our 500 2 years ago we looked at cars in various colours but very quickly came to the conclusion that BMW was the colour for US.
We looked at the Funk White but neither of us liked it (looked like a very 80's champagne colour) in fact if Funk was free and BNW was a £700 option we would still have gone BNW, because we liked BNW more!
Same with 306 Maxi and his love of Black Ambience, does not do it for us, we like the Ivory, looks different from the norm, who is right Maxi or me?(well I am of course lol). Both is the answer, if you are happy with your car then thats all that matters.
Oh and yes the Red Leather is superb, just wish the seats were heated

Tbh I've never had an issue with the seats being too hot or too cold. It's only like that for a tiny amount of time

Only time I have a problem with cold seats is in winter, wearing a Tee shirt and it rides up at the back as you sit down

This thread has got an amazing response. But given the cost of the extras of the pearlescent paint and the leather you would need some thick skin (if you pardon the pun !) if you had spent some of your hard earned ££££ given some of the comments
.I think its important to re-read some the OPs preferences and requirements in what she was looking for in her choice of spec on her first 500. If I had come on the FF when I was first looking at my first 500 I would now be totally bewildered from all the input.
Still I hope all our twopence worth has not gone unspent.

Heidi, I ordered a 1.2 lounge, BNW, tan & cream leather, side strips w 500 badge, Interscope stereo, ESP, electrochromatic mirror & 16" spoke wheels - and the sales guy threw in mats and the better Fiat Sat Nav. He talked me out of FW paint, bi xenon headlights and the TA engine - so I spent less than I was planning. Just hope I don't regret the paint, but can live without the other two - so far I'm dead chuffed and really looking forward to it. I found all the posts really helpful. Thanks so much for your help and interest.What did u order in the end?
As some one who currently drives the 1.2 but has just ordered the TA I can definitely say that you won't regret the 1.2. It's a lovely engine and with one person in the car perfectly capable. I love the tan leather but my wife insisted on red in the new one. Enjoy the car when she comes - it sounds great!
