Oh dear, didnt expect that reaction steve! Still, a little bit of love never hurt anyone! Back on topic, sort of, Ive always wanted a Trabant since I saw my first one in 1991 in Bristol. However, I want one of those VW Polo engined ones as that would be a cool everyday motor.
Lada Samara Prospective father-in-law owned 3, and I have driven one of his and another that I was thinking of buying once, utter rubbish! Partner's ex. 'tolerated' an FSO Polonez for a while and I was frequently called upon to fix it incl. propshaft joints etc - even worse than the Samara! Skoda Favorit is definately in a totally different league, much better! (owned 3 + 1 Felicia & 1 Estelle ). Even had 2 Yugo's 45A & 55A which I regularly serviced myself and proved totally reliable... now the Yugo Tipo, sorry Sana (closely related but cheaper still) now that was a nice car
